Rita Auburger, a graduate from International Academy of Design, established the business in 2003.
She gained sewing and design experience working as a costume designer around the world, for Club Med, and in the Toronto Film industry in wardrobe. She worked on wardrobe award winning "La Femme Nikita", sewed the fabric mothership on "Earth the Final Conflict", and worked in the wardrobe department in movies such as "john Q", "Angel Eyes", and "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days", and more.
Starting a family, with the birth of her son "Noah Brown", took Rita in a new fashion direction. She sewed out of her home for Toronto fashion designers. She created a line of brocade corsets and bags with the "Noah Brown by Rita Auburger" label, and created a baby line called "Noah Brown Mini Collection", an earth-friendly line of innovative baby accessories. The business "Noah Brown Contract and Custom Sewing" moved to a store-front-location in 2003. The store has expanded every year, and now has four parts: a reputable Alteration Shop "Noah Brown Sewing" and boutique, where we still make our baby line "Noah Brown Mini Collection".
We have since altered thousands of dresses, sewn over 600 corsets, hemmed countless pants.

Loise D: Orangeville(Mono) "I am so happy to have found Noah Brown's. Being 5'1", almost everything I buy needs to be shortened or altered in some way. Visiting Noah's is always a pleasant experience. The sewing is impeccable, and my alterations are always done on time, ready for pick-up when promised. Congratulations on the expansion of your bridal store. Sabina and Rita, I am sure you will do well."
